personaly id have a problem if youd kill Dr Franklin off im very much a stickler for Continuity.. and killin the character off would completely distroy any continuity.. in the story line...

Well, if Johnny Sekka is available JMS could briong back Dr. Benjamin Kyle (who was established as Head of Xenobiology at Earthdome, I seem to recall). Menawhile, Dr. Franklin is operating on detatched duty, as mentioned by Kyle. It's an idea, anyway...

It would be cool to bring back a character only seen in the pilot, but mentioned several time later in the show...
And it would be a cool hardcore fan reference.
Hardcore fan : "Hey! Its Dr. Kyle!"
Casual fan: "Who?!"

Yep, that would be cool, very cool. Especially since he was pulled from the station due to having seen a Vorlon under the suit, he might be a logical candidate for a Shadows/first ones oriented story.
