Mongoose
Hardback Book, 90 Pages.
The book stays in the flavor of Lankhmar adding very little game information. The details of the lands are based on the Lankhmar books. very little if any creation of materials is used, which is a facet that I like.
The following lands are covered: Ilthmar (City of the Rat God), Quarmall (Underground Kingdom of Necromancers), The Northlands: Land of the Eight Cities, Cold Wasite, and The Rime Isles.
Both Ice Magic and Necromancy are touched upon. Two Necromancy Spells are given: Summon Ghost and Erode Willpower. None are given for Ice Magic.
The final Section is the Campaign, Swords Across Lankhmar. It is actually very good, with the PC's becoming hirelings (Puppets?) of Sheelba and Ning. The PC's adventure across Newhon retireving artefacts for these two.
What I really like about the adventure/campaign is the way Ning and Sheelba's personalities are brought out.
To continue this, you will need the PDF Swords against Sorcery.
In all, the book was not really what I was expecting. But it is a good book and a great source of information for all you Lankhmar fans.
