New VAS Ship Stats

Howdy Folks,

Just curious if anybody had any stats for the following ships:

Agile Class Destroyer
Redoubtable Class Submarine
S-Class Destroyer
Town Class Cruiser
Allan M Sumner Class Destroyer
The Pegaso Italian Destroyer/Torpedo Boat
Type 13 Sub Chaser

I looked through past posts to see if I could find any, without success. My apologies if they have been posted before. These are all ships in Wizards of the Coasts "War at Sea" line of pre-painted plastic ships. Their rules are goofy though so I use the VaS rules.

The Town-class were a ten-ship class of light cruisers of the Royal Navy. The Towns were designed to the constraints imposed by the London Naval Treaty of 1930. The ships were built in three distinct sub-classes, the Southampton, Gloucester and Edinburgh classes respectively, each sub-class adding on further weaponry.

some of these werein the "Order of Battle" supplement, and others may have been included in articles on S&P. Unfortunately I don't have these to hand just now so I can't check.

I looked through Order of Battle and all the S&P articles. I could not find the stats for the ships in the original post.

It maybe that I am using a different class than either S&S or OoB are using. I am not a naval buff...just a guy who likes the tactics and flavour of naval style miniature games.

"Town" class cruisers are the "Southampton", "Gloucester" and "Edinburgh" classes

The stats for the Allen M Sumner class are as follows:

Turning: 2
Target: 6+
Armour: 2+
Damage: 3/1
Crew: 13/4
Special Traits: Agile, Sub-Hunter, Radar
In Service: 1944

Weapon Range / AD / DD/ Special
Secondary Armaments 12” / 2 / 1 / Weak
AAA 5” / 4 / - / -
Port/Starboard Torpedoes 10” / 5 / 4 / AP, One-Shot
Depth Charges 3” / 6 / 2 / Slow-Loading

Isn't damage 3/1 more destroyer class. I picked up statts somewhere and they do match these but are close in some areas.

One would certainly hope so; the Allen M. Sumner class were destroyers. I think you may have gotten your signals slightly crossed, since the first part of the message was about the Town class cruisers.

Well ... it turns out not to have been TMP and I can't for the life of me remember where it was. Wherever it was, you replied to the messages.

Well with he little tme I can use i have working on my British and Italians. need to get stats for flower class and some others now. but not up on working ship stats yet. If any body can help let me know.

FYI, Hallmark make a model of Habakkuk in 1/6000

I Reckon 1/6000 would be the only scale it would be practical in at 2000ft long that would be a hell of a size in 1/3000 or 1/2400
