Mongoose
I know the games only been out a short while but i'm still going to ask it :P What's happening with the next wave? In regards to how the rules will be presented.

Will there be a new rule book or a revised rule book? Also, can you let us know how the Angel Gang or going to be used? Are they for specific scenarios or a customisable gang for use in campaigns?

And lastly...On the blog, the next Dredd release is the box sets in July. Will there be singles released during this time?

I'm looking forward to my first game now my friends have the rules. Time to give my juves a lick of paint :D

The rulebook will be revised and updated and free to download, see here:

Ah cool, thanks. I think i'll hold off printing the rules off just yet and i'll wait and see what happens when the next wave of things comes out.

As a quick update...

There will be a printed version of the rulebook available in the near future via Wargames Vault, both in b/w and colour versions.

Being painted right now are the new Judge Dredd, the Holocaust HS/2 suit, the Angel Gang and the Sky Surfer Gang - these will go on sale as soon as we get them back, within the next month.

Shortly after that (within a few days!), we will update the rulebook with the Sky Surfer Gang, Angel Gang and the Cursed Earth Desperado forces.

Over the next 2-3 months we are hoping to bring back the bulk of the 'classic' range (the only thing that will impinge on this will be the popularity of Noble Armada!).

Shane Hoyle is busy as a beaver on the next crop of Dredd minis. These include some new Kleggs, Klegg Hounds (one mini that can be posed in different ways), a female Street Judge, a Necromancer/Zombie Master to lead a Zombie force, an all new Lawmaster, new Citi-Def, and we have just asked him for a Street Judge with a Law Rod.

Should be enough for a clutch of summer releases!

Whooooooooo, this sounds like very exciting times for the Dredd game. I've just finished Judgement Day, which i thought was much better than the reviews, so a zombie gang will make a fantastic addition to the range.

Are robots still in the piper line? Also, are you accepting S&P submissions for the game yet? I'm looking having a whack at trying out a Pro eating coach for the Fatties, and maybe a Bite Fighter would add an interesting bit of muscle to a Mobster gang :D

Robots are indeed coming, with the rest of the classic range.

As for S&P articles, by all means. However, if you are adding as new miniature or force to the game, it _must_ use Mongoose minis as a base for conversion purposes, and you _must_ include photos of said minis.

Sounds good Matthew!

Just keep 'em coming, I'll keep on buying 'em!

I really hope you will do a printed rulebook. PDF's just don't 'feel' right or have the permencance that I like.

This is what i really apreciate about MGP, you do seem to listen and are genuinely interested in what your customers say on these forums.

I'm really pleased that you have taken onboard the requests that people have made in regards to what miniatures they would like you to produced. For example little additions such as a female street judge may not have been high on many peoples lists but for me its a nice touch. Im sure had the same request been made on the GW website/ blog or whatever it would have fallen on deaf ears.

Will the miniatures be checked for "Oops is that for sure" before release? I mean, for example, knee pads having been exchanged for what looks like dirty great window boxes.
Another thing I have noticed over the years, Judge miniatures having lawgivers but no boot holster, you have just got to wonder where they keep them when not in use, ouch!

I like these rules, much better than those from Citadel/GW in the 80's although to be fair they were a quick addition to the journal and I do not think that they were ever expanded upon.

Will there be an add on for the SD's? I think I have three or four versions of Johnny Alpha (not counting Heroclix Indy one) alone and a handfull of others to let loose.

Well, actually...

While we have no plans for a general release of a printed rulebook, you will be able (likely after the next revision) buy a printed copy from Wargame Vault as part of their POD scheme.

So yes, a hardcopy will be available!

There is a good reason for that - and it is the same reason that boot holsters do not always appear in the comic strips either. In a nutshell, judges can look a bit odd with an empty holster on the side of their boots, so for 'artistic' reasons, they are often left out!

No solid plans yet, but it has been discussed.

Oooo...Zombies!
Would that be a "bag o Zombies" $10 (£6.99) for 100?

Cannot wait for Zombie Babes (bag of) to hit the UK.

I think those are going to be too small for Dredds scale, something like Mantic zombies are more the right size, plus they're very well priced. But whatever is released, i know a zombie horde is going to be great fun.

I'm liking the poses of the new Skysurfers, would it be possible to get a photo with a closer shot of the surfers themselves? It's hard to see them from that angle. Are these supplied at random like the Fatties are? Thanks

Hey. Is there any word when the updated rule book will be out? Will the necromagus/zombie master be included in it? That's a mini i'm totally looking forward for

I never even heard this had been released. If only my local club played this I would be on it like a shot. Funniest moment I ever had was playing with a copper character (Abitrator in Dark Heresy), he had just killed a bunch of heretics, and nicked all their stuff. I asked, "Isn't that against the law?" He looks at me and says, "I am the ******* law." and shoots a randomn civilian with a shotgun.
