Interesting: the on-going support for ACTA is cool. And I love the fact there are plenty of different fleets coming out.

I know nothing about the Fading Suns setting, but the Vau sounds cool: I wonder how alien they will be.

The Vau are pretty alien. They have a vague resemblance to humanity, assuming you ever met ten foot tall people, but they are completely alien in thought and goal. For the most part the Vau have left humanity alone, but every expedition into Vau space has been destroyed (?).

the Vau are the masters of energy technology and shields. there ships harness a miniature sun at the center of graceful pylons reaching our from the central massive hull of there ships. In the early days a single Vau ship could destroy an entire human fleet. The Vau during the height of the Second Republic, were eclipsed in technology but humanity has fallen on hard times while the Vau seem to be a totally static society.

What do they want? we don't know...
What are there goals? unknown...
Can we trust them? probably not...
Can we stop them? your asking too many questions.
Leave them be, its better to not be noticed.

And when they run out of power and collapse they presumably sell the ships onto the ROmulans in the next Universe.....

That has never been confirmed. Nor have the rumors of the Decados of having dealings with the Dilgar.
