I wonder...

If a ship is in hyperspace at the start of a battle... if it uses a SA to open a jump point in turn one, I asume it will move into the battle in turn 2... isn´t it?

and in that case, does it have to move half its movement allowance from the jump point just open?

and if the ship has Advanced jump point?

Thanks...

Yes it can move in the turn after the jump point opens.

Yes it must move half its movement from the jump point. The only way to NOT move half your movement allowance is to use all stop and a ship the ship must still use the intiate jump point special order on the turn it jumps in.

Ships with advanced jump engines can ignore the restrictions that jumping in and the special order would put on them but they still cannot use a second special oder (all stop) at the same time.

However if another ship opens the jump point a ship with AJP CAN come in on special orders (including all stop but most people use this trick to do something evil like have a Warlock or Marthon jump in boresighted and CAF..... (yes I know its pure evil but thats no reason not to do it now then is it? )

I assume from your Avatar you play Narns? If thats the case I highly recommend lots of emines and frazis where you can get them :) And lots of Ka'Tocs/Ka'Tans
