New Omega CC (S&P 40)

Yer but dont forget, power doesnt only equal high tech advantage....

Simply putting enough armor plates can be quite good too.

The problem here arises from the Priority lvl system (No this is not a points vs priority grudge), but rather the armageddon priority makes us think it is equal to otzher ships of that lvl. Well mostly it is, but not when compared against the real ships of that lvl. VCD and Adira as well as the Vorlon heavy prove how strong a ship has to be at that lvl.

And there is practically no way EA could have a ship that powerful that quickly. Warlock development started early. Plus how do they manage to become as strong as Minbari.....who are like 1000 years more advanced. within a timeframe that is a 100 years.

As such the ships is quite well displayed: Worse than a true armageddon lvl ship should be. Problem of the Priority lvl system, you cant go back to war, cause it would be a total must buy there.

Gahhh Just make the Warlock go back to its SFOS war incarnation. It would solve 3-4 problems at once......

Also make the Shadow Omega war.....it makes 0 sense where it is. Tack shadow tech onto a vessel and make it (supposedly) 4 times better. It is only a real war lvl choice but still.
I pretty much agree on both points but at least the EA get a decent War level choice now :P

I agree with most of the points above. Adding cobbled-on shadow tech should increase the PL by about a level. Hence Omega = Battle, Shadow Omega = War. By the same reasoning, Warlock = War, Nemesis = Armaggedon (and make it a decent Armaggeddon choice please :))

The only slight problem I see is that the self-repair trait is significantly more valuable in campaigns than one-off games. Not having to spend RR points to get back all those hull points make a big difference to the resources you have available.
