New Hyperions?

Well, I have 2 Hyperion ships so far, but I know that when they are painted, I'll probably use the rail version most of all.

SOOOooooo I will definitely pick up a couple.

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for the Neroon for my Minbari fleet.....

Yeah, I already own four for my psi corp buddies to field and as this is a third or fourth favorite in a string of 9 (10?) fleets I own I was just anxious not to have to buy to many more. I like to convert for variant on my main fleets, but not too deeply or it gets more than I can afford.

The Hyperion happens to be my favorite ship. Always liked the way it looked compared to the ugly blocky Omega.

The varients are a good idea. It may allow for far larger variety in the future for other races as well. Have you added in panel lines and all that other good stuff to the computer model yet?

Now that you have this snazzy new instant master gizmo thing, we can expect to see new models done this way and that is a good thing. There are a few models in the existing range that could use a going over with said device. The mechanical square edge style races like, Earth, Narn, Centauri (some) would really benefit with a cleaner more crisp look.

That is the one thing I didn't like. I'd rather see some more variants for the option starved league races and ancients than more variants on the a model we could sub perfectly well.

On a tangent here, since the design was so "quick" will you guys be re-making some of the old models, perhaps more to scale, like the Vorchans? and most of the other Centauri Skirmish/Patrol ships? (there's probably others, I just have mostly seen the Centauri scale problems.)

I would like to see a new Avenger model. The current one doesn't really seem that earthy to me & a little crap as well, maybe boring is a better word or both.
Im thinking about converting a old Olympus to having Cobra bays down the side & maybe having big hanger doors on the front. That is kinda the vision a EA carrier would look like not a flat wedge.

It's the Avenger AOG did first for their Earth-Wars Supplement.
I think the Avenger is ok, there are other ships who need a sopme help.

I quite like the Avenger, it is the ultimate in funcuntional looking ships. It has engines and launch bays - what more do you need? It is a carrier and does exactly what it says on the tin.

I do prefer the version someone did by adding a BFG bridge to the basic ship - gave it the blue water carrier look

Yeah, that version looked pretty cool. Like the carrier from Space: Above and Beyond
