New Alien Books

We'll soon have Zhodani and Sword Worlds.
I'm wondering about Hivers, Droyne and K'kree?
I could see a Droyne book along the lines of Darrians and Sword Worlders that detailed 5 Sisters subsector but if Mongoose stick to their policy of keeping published sectors contiguous it will be a long time before the Hivers, K'kree (and Solomani come to that) are covered
I'm not complaining about the current policy, I think it was an excellent idea to publish Aslan/Vargr/Zhodani with sectors that link to the Marches, but I would like to see the other major races get the Mongoose treatment (and being impatient sooner rather than later)

They would have to start a second group of sectors, or perhaps do a thematic pair that cover adjacent sectors along the K'kree-Hiver border as a constant low-level warzone.

IIRC there is a fairly active Droyne world in Diaspora (old adventure in Challenge magazine), so that and the Solomani Rim make a useful pair.

For the Droyne, there are are five-six Droyne controlled worlds within the bounds of the Domain of Deneb. So, instead of focusing on the Five Sisters, they could instead simply detail those five-six worlds. It wouldn't be formatted exactly like Darrians and Sword Worlds, but it would be thematically close.

If we're wish-listing which ones to do next, my vote goes to Droyne-Hivers-K'Kree. Partly in being partisan to my fellow poster Mssr Daryen here, but partly in the logical sense: The Zhodani book comes out before Droyne (& the Droyne's psionic abilitites impressed the Zho historically in game), then it stands to reason the Droyne who will get passing mention in the new AM4 book,need to get explained next.

Looking at my much thumbed hardcopy of CT AM4: Zhodani the opening chapter on the History is where I draw this from, Mssr Stainless, not from any prescient ability associated with Psionics... :wink:

I think the common mention of the Droyne in this thread is a theme Mongoose may have already noted and acted on. Time will tell. :wink:
