Possibly because it's not Mongoose that's publishing it - it's published by Spica Publishing Limited.

(What are these newsletters of which you speak anyway? Can third party publishers get into them?)

I'd think anything that would promote Traveller would be accepted. I get them in my email all the time. It's a newsletter that talks about "what's new at Mongoose."

Mongoose send out a regular newsletter (as do DTRPG/RPGNow) by email.

It's really nice that people associate Spica with Mongoose (and we aren't complaining - thanks for kudos, Matt! :wink: :lol: ),*however*, as EDG says, the Nemesis book isn't published by Mongoose - it's published by Spica Publishing, and we are a separate company, with our own boards.
