Mutant Chronicles

I've heard rumors of someone trying to make the old "Mutant Chronicles" RPG again but then I've heard rumors that this development fell flat. Has anyone heard anything about this? I loved 1st (and 2nd edition) Mutant Chronicles and like many of the other games that Mongoose produces, the world setting is unique and offers a different, unique gaming experience.
If Mongoose can pick this up, let me know!

Yes, COG was developing 3rd edition of Mutant Chronicles using licence from Paradox (see the connection with how Mongoose's new plans with Conan went with the said company).

COG failed to meet the deadline(s) and that was (as far as I know) the final reason why Paradox pulled the plug from the game.

I don't know if they will put the licence up for grabs.

So, this is more or less what I know about the situation. I hope this helps!

If it helps Mongoose, there were quite a few supplements for the Mutant Chronicles RPG. Each corporation/house/govt. had one. THe GM screen had a booklet on the moon. Each of the demon overlords or whatever (I forgot their names) had their own book and the Church had its own book.

I played this years ago, so yes please, i think it would look good as a modified Runequest system.

OGL might handle some of the concepts better, but I really would love to see someone take a crack at a new version of Mutant Chronicles.

Just please don't do ANYTHING based on the movie.
