Is it possible to take multiple actions (per page 5 of Skills and Tasks) as a combat action? If so, can you take multiple of the same action, such as firing a weapon more then once? I can't find anything so far that allows or disallows this.
If it is possible to take multiple shots during a combat action (using multiple actions rules), this would make the autofire weapons not so much of an advantage.
