MRQ Wiki

Hi,

I included the SRD changes to the Skill-, Combat-, and Magic-section of the SRD-pdf -- and the layout is a little different now.

The GM-Screen includes the new Dodge-, Parry-, Grapple-, and Fumble-tables now.

Hey tim can you please lock the wiki so only registered users can add content, the SPAM is getting annoying.
Yeah. Well done for keeping it down. I've had to clear out a a front page with about 100 entries on it, too.

I've just cleared the Spam again after the other thread complaint. So far Tim hasn't got back to me :(

Perhaps we ought to relocate this elsewhere. I have a server and can do so, but would need some volunteers to help move it.

Any hands?

You can count on my help.

Were you planning on using Media Wiki also?
Wasn't planning on anything, yet. Just airing it as a possibility as we haven't had contact from Tim and we can't keep running like this. I don't know of other easy wiki software... ideas welcome! :D

As someone who has used a few types of Wikis for various things, I feel for what we use it for Media Wiki is the best fit. I would though like to add categories to all the pages, and use some of the built in features we are not currently using, and of course it would be best that only people with account are able to add any content and I personally think we could ad a few of the following extensions.

Extra SPAM protection
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:SpamBlacklist
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:SpamDiffTool
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:SpamRegex

A small forum to discuss wiki related topics to keep it clear of this forum
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Forum_extension

Maybe others, this is just my wishlist.

Hi all,

Given the constant hacks that are going on with the MRQ Wiki (turning into porn, sometimes), and the fact we can't contact Tim (ex-Seraphim Guard), I think we have to move it so it can be controlled by a group of users. Sceaptune Games will provide the host and name, but maintenance of it will need to be a joint, fan effort.

We probably have a choice of names. Any preferences?

mrqwiki.com
mrqwiki.info
mrqwiki.org
Something else (please say)

This will go into a poll, I think.
