Morrow project

I do not know if any one here remebers the game Morrow project but I think it could be printed with Traveller System and make a great setting and a great apocoliptic rpg

the morrow project eventual went to Basic role playing system , but I feel The Traveller system wouold work far better for this sci fi classic!

I can see it. The careers would be a great way to build characters that would make sense to the team they are assigned to. The vehicles would be easy to do. The setting does not require space travel so starships are not an issue. All of the fire arms would be able to be tied to one of the Traveller one's except the SMGs. And that would be an easy fix. The HAAM SUITwould just be a Battlesuit. Low Berth chambers would be used as the cryo-chambers. This would be almost too easy of a conversion.

there is a reason Mongoose choose Traveller to be the basic system for thier sci fi catologe - I personally think it would make for a great little book -but I WANDER With the cold war over is thier any longer a Apcoliptic genera to set this in? I mean t here still the religous belief in the end of the world but is thier still a possobility we will have such a grand ending as a nuke holocast? there as we have found so many other ways to get offed as a civilization, look at Stirlings Dies the Fire, or even I am Legend! or Adramada Strain!
Nukes are the easy way out -LOL
thier are history channel or descovery channel did 10 top ways of the end of the world- now that was frightning

Greg Porter did a collection of 13 different world ending scenarios... 5 of them don't involve the paranormal... it's for CORPS, but it's a good read none the less.

Is this something on the net I can read?

It's available for purchase from DTRPG.

Sorry, I did not realize you meant a whole product. I thought you were refering to a list like this one:

However, this does sound interesting enough to be worth the money even though I do not play Corps.

Thanks

Only one of the scenarios is terribly rules-specific... and even it is modifiable. (The Russian Mental hospital one.)
