More Pak Ma Ra Ships?

I hope we get to see the old AOG Pak Ma Ra shps released from Mongoose.
The Tharnatok crusier and Resh kasu carrier, both decent models 8)
Anybody else like to see these?
Give the smelly scavengers more native ships. :twisted:

I still got 3 Resh´Kasu, so I´d love to see them released for the Pak - however, this question has come up before, and IIRC the answer back then was something like "there are no plans to release these models as of now, at least not for the Pak´Ma´Ra. The Paks will receive another ship in 2nd ed, but that comes from a different species".

So, while the miniatures might still come, seem´s the Paks won´t use them. As for the mysterious new ship, my guess is a Hurrr gunship...

The only ships seen in the series which were described as Pak'ma'ra ships were actually Drazi Warbirds/Sunhawks (can't remember which, and not painted bright yellow...).

So yes it is accurate to what was seen on screen.

Yes I recall seeing the episode where a Pak ship is under attack from Raiders (Centauri ships under Drakh control) and it turns out to be a Drazi Sunhawk. It wasn't painted yellow, looked like a standard Drazi vessel.

Also fits in with what AoG had established for the Pak fleet. They had a number of vessels bought from other governments.

The Gaim were of a similar situation.

Makes me wonder if the old Markab ship will be re-released as a Gaim or Pak ship. Also based on AoG's fluff text, I recall some of the older superplus EA ships (mostly Dilgar War vintage) were sold to the League Governments.

Well it might be balanced if the slow-loading's stack. One slow loading for the Sag, and another for the plasma torps. Thats 1 shot per 4 turns

Yes, it does indeed... But the Paks would replace everything with Plasma torpedos anyway...

Yes, we only see one Pak ship, which lennier called a military transport; and that was a Drazi Warbird under attack from Drakh Raiders. So at least Drazi ships are "canon" with pak´Ma´Ra. Apart from that, taking that "we use leftover ships of other races" factor away from the Gaim and giving it to the Paks was a wise move of Mongoose, it really fits into the background of carrion eaters and scavengers

No, all of the Pak'ma'ra ships were of their own design; the Gaim were the race that had the "we don't have any ships of our own design as their gimmick. The Pak'ma'ra schtick was that all of their ships had cargo bays aboard, with the fluff explanation that most of the Pak'ma'ra fleet was used to haul cargo when not needed for "military" maneuvers.

Why not expand there fleet list and make them a more stand alone fleet choice. It can only be a good thing in the end.
