Banded Mongoose
When I compare the quality of Mongoose PDF's to certain other releases on RPGNow/DriveThruRPG, I'm kinda dissapointed. The PDF's are just dumb text, without any hypertext or bookmarking within them. Its great that I can search the text, but in the 2010's, thats primitive tech. Now the cutting edge on such things as FFG's Rogue Trader, Posthumans Eclipse Phase, even indie games like Dresden Files is that if the text refers to a rule, page number or other section, then someone has already linked it up within the PDF. I would love it if Mongoose increased the quality of their PDF's by hypertexting them up - possibly a job that could be outsourced? It would help keep Mongoose on the cutting edge of the gaming industry rather than falling behind.

Thx.

We are doing this right now - you'll start seeing PDFs replaced quite soon!

Thats great news Matt- what is first on the hitlist? Traveller core and RQII I'm guessing?

And if you get a chance, please clean up those confusing aligned skills columns through the background tables of Glorantha 2nd Ed.

Thank you for that.

You mean, working out where Ducal Noble ends, and Religious begins? Yes, very confusing. A thin line would do the trick.

Also in the Cults of Glorantha PDF, you still have "Babarian and Nomad Cults" on every page from 34-65. Should be spelt "Barbarian" unless this is a reference to some sort of Elephant cult. :-)

I'd like to see cheaper PDFs, or an option of print+PDF in the checkout. I'd pay an extra $5-10 for a book if it meant I could download the PDF for free. It would also expand to a larger market. I won't pay $30 for a print book and then $30 for a PDF, but I will pay $40 for a print book and the PDF. If it's included as an option, more people are going to pick up either the PDF or the print book.
