Monsters in the Viking book?

I am planning a trip to the FLGS (1.5 hr drive) and I was wondering if the Monster Compendium would be useful, or are most of the monsters specific to a viking game included in the book?

Most of the animals and monsters specific to the Vikings are included.

Monster Coliseum might be useful for extra encounters if your players venture down into more Mediterranean climes. You could even have members of the Varangian Guard racing chariots in Byzantium... :wink:

There are monsters in the Viking book already. The Monster Coliseum is still interesting however, as it allows you to play in a gladitorial style 'campaign'. i.e. it's not just a bunch of monster entrees.
