Mongoose RuneQuest Reviews

BRP Central now have a review section for Mongoose RuneQuest publications and 3rd party products made with the help of the MRQ OGL.

All the products for sale that have been produced for MRQ are uploaded, ready to be reviewed.

The review section is a great place to collect reviews for Mongoose RuneQuest in one place, making it easier for people to decide what they would like to buy.

So far 21 products have been given extensive reviews (thanks Simon! ), and I hope more of you will add your voice by adding your reviews. No need for the reviews to be as detailed as Simon's either, all opionions, short or long will be a help for those evaluating what to buy, and counts toward the total score for the product.

If anyone of you have any reviews posted in the forum here, please consider copying them over to the Mongoose RuneQuest review section so they won't be lost in the pages of the forum.

To post a review, you have to be registered at the forum (takes only very short time), go to the product in question, and click the "Post a Review" option in the upper right-hand corner of the blue product box.

BTW, I have started using the trade name of Alephtar Games for commercial reasons (marketing roolz!) and have two more products in PDF now, Kidnapping in Al-Halisa and The Hounds of Adranos. You may wish to add them.

Agentorange is reviewing some of the Sceaptune supplements as we speak. I also have several supplements down in Oslo, and will start writing reviews when I move south in a weeks time.

BUT, for the review section to be really usefull for people, we do need more reviews as you say. So start adding your reviews! 8)

I've added the "Kidnapping in Al-Halisa", and updated your trade name. I'll update it on the link list too shortly. I haven't added the Hounds of Adranos since it's free for all and people don't really need to read a review to decide if they should get it or not. :wink:

(If you want to spread it more, you could always add it to the download section of BRP Central - there you can also see how many people who are downloading it - Dirk D's RuneQuest SRD Luxury edition is currently the most popular with downloads!)

I wrote a review of MRQ a while back. I really rip into it, i'm afraid, but i'm glad to say the horizons of RQ have brightened since.

The question was would you care to add it? You'd only have to register, find the product, cut and paste the review, add pros&cons on top, the price you payd, a rating from 1-10 and whether you'd recommend it or not. 8)

If I add it with my profile it will look like I have written it (and I plan to make one myself too). :wink:
