Modern Russian Army pics

Good job on the painting. I am a big fan of the 20mm scale and the new Russian forces.
 ???
How can you tell if the painting is good with such blurry pics???
Is something wrong with my Monitor? Did I miss something?

The painting MIGHT be good, but at the moment it is impossible to tell for me. :(

How can I tell?

A good guess, I would say, since I have seen many, many, many model shows that display hundreds upon hundreds, etc, of bad and good paint job. My standards are lower for war-gaming pieces than they are for models, and there is a huge difference between the two types.

As for a trick to see a more clear pic, take the pic, and shrink it and that will tighten the resolution.

But to defend my statements, he ha clearly outlined all the camo sections in black, a version of the tri-color Russian camo. There are other versions of the tri-color camo, at least 5 versions.

I can tell he is following one of the patterns accurately and I deemed it worthy enough to call it "good" until I can get a better look, a closer look.

I did apologise for the quality, just squint a bit :) I tried shrinking them, but you'd need a microscope !

I'll get higher resolution pictures of them (plus a couple more) up later in the week.

Interesting stuff, thanks. I was already lighting the models that way, but the camera I used was only 2MP.
MP has nothing to do with focusing. Your pics look as if the camera was not properly focused. Try the Macro setting (if there )...
