Model casting issues

I bought a pair of White Stars today...

...damn near perfect. Crisp, no distortions, a couple of runners which were trimmed off in about a minute. Compared with the last set I got a couple of years back - dramatically better.

That might be a hit or miss. When I ordered my ISA box set, the box had some issues.

I play the ISA. I have a dozen White Stars and 2 Victory Class destroyers. The White Stars were all next to perfect. No problems in the casting, and only minor flash issues. The VCD's on the other hand, were a problem. Lots of extra flash, with some casting issues as well. Nothing some green stuff wouldn't fix.

All in all, I don't have a problem with the ISA models as for casting.
