What would it take to get mod rights so I could clear these spam posts out? I spend a good portion of my 12 hour shift, daily, watching in here and thought maybe I could help

Mods don't have that much power, we can delete posts, delete, move, sticky, 'announcify' or split threads.

But that's about it, and once you're listed openly as a mod you get PMs by the score asking you to do things.

Well, hey, at least it would take some of the load off you!

Well Nick seems to be picking up some slack, but that's a little unfair because he's on holiday this week.

We need:

a) volunteers
b) an admin to promote them to mod status.

Well, I'm volunteering. And I have hampsters.

I messaged msprange yesterday, just waiting on the call back.

That's how I got sucked in, volunteered to nuke SPAM, and now look at me, sole mod of the forums, master of almost all I survey.

I have volunteered before, as I spend much time here... even if I don't feel the need to post often.

The offer is still open, I can mod without a problem.
