OK, after the info that all races can "wraith out" I sat down and did a Dragonborn fighter, warlord or paladin (I see him as "Sarge") and a tiefling warlock (Sparks)

The dragon bornw as rough as I had to sacrifice the body of a Saurus and take the boots off a pair of pants, then get the angles right to make it look like lizard feet were coming out of humanoid pants.

Now looking forward to getting these guys all pigmented!

The bluish glow is standard, but it might flash a different colour when being used for some of its other abilities. ;)

Those are quite nice models. It took me a few pictures before I realized the base body parts.

Time to raid some bits boxes. :)

Aside from kitbashing figures for this game, does anyone know where there are figures that look like the Wraiths in the pictures? ie. padded armor, backpacks and helms?

I'm wanting to use figures that look like the pictures for my demonstrations of this game rather than just random plastic ones.

Thanks

OK, just in time for the book I finished up one figure for every class except rogue, thought he ranger/scout might do in a pinch.

There are other finished ones in the album, I won't link to them all
But this one I did as an homage to the artwork inthe book.
It's called "Hostage" Those darned bugbears stole the princess again....

So...... we rolle dup characters and pretty much NO ONE chose characters matching the figures I made!

The wife HAD to be a Dragonborn Paladin, so rather than having 2 scale heads, I went with an Eldarin Warlord. The wizard did not want a staff but a wand (Grumble grumble) and the last of the foursome was a dwarf ranger with 2 weapons (Warhammers)

The eldarin was hard. Most elves do not look "military" at all. I dug through and found an old Dark Eldar body. I added some dark elf arms from some leftovers from a client. The ehad had a pony tail but I took it off and went for the shaved head look. There will be a story if he lives long enough to tell it.

The dwarf was an old Mordheim treasure hunter. He came with 4 weapon choices per hand and I went with double hammers. Add a spellcom lens and voila'!

The wand wizard was a pretty simple conversion. Wizard body and Empire arms. I carved the wand from a drumstick with a quartzy crystal on the end.

Dragonborn are tough. She wanted a double handed axe. I was thinking of going with a lizard man again, but she likes armor. I used some leftover tau legs, and an Imperial Guardsman's torso. Arms are from the Mordheim sprue with the greatsword replaced with a greataxe. The Kroot head replaced a lizardman head at the alst minute. This bodyw as slight, perhaps mroe "feminine" so I wanted a smaller noggin.

Overall should be fun. We'll see how long we live. In a practice run 4 Kobolds almost handed us our arses!
