Miniature recall

Mongoose
I've just thought of this. >This is all aimed towards someone at Mongoose<
As of January, when the SST stuff is no sale, is Mongoose offering some kinda buy back to the stores with existing stock?
Im guessing/hoping not, since that means I can still get some cheap troops when moneys a bit less tight :D

Also, the advert in this months S&P says the miniatures will be available until the new editions published in the new year, could this be interpreted as an offer to treat? And if so, how will we go about ordering parts off you once the deadlines gone?
Im wondering about parts mostly. After a year of staring at my unassembled, mispacked WASP troopers (I had too many left hand rails, not enough right ones) desparing that I'd ever actually stick them together properly, I've decided that they lokk pretty damn good just mounted flat on the back without all the extra gubbins stuck on.
So I'd kinda like to get enough of them to stick on all my MI (Via some magnets), is that going to be a problem if I wait till next year?

It probably will be - for obvious reasons, we want to create a 'gap' between the old range and new, even for the models that are going to survive the transition (they will be repackaged).

Are there models still available for the MI during the transition? (I refer to Demo Credit Orders)
I ask because it will make the difference between the balance of B5 and SST products in my next order (if SST gets entirely unavailable it has priority).

Yeah I can understand that.
The price is going to be higher (Due to the cost of metal if nothing else) as well come the relaunch Im assuming?

Thanks for bringing this topic up.

I have a box of unopened WASP troopers. I had various bits missing or mismatched from the first 3 boxes so I better check this last box out over the weekend and order what I expect I'll need.

Perhaps not - we will be repackaging things so some models will have more in the box, giving you a better deal overall. We are still working on this (and there is no telling what metal prices will be doing in six months time. . .

Well, if we can't do something for our MI, who can we do it for? :) We'll work out something for any demo team member who has specific requirements with SST.

You'll also get a chance to get your hands on the playtest rules early next year and, if everything works out, the most valued members will also get their mits on the first resin models to come out of the factory.

At least you have heard something already. I even sent mine in before you did. :)

Guess it would have leped if I looked at the right email address.

Resistance is futile.

You're right. I just went career and got approved this morning. :D

Welcome aboard to both of you. I am in Frankfort and Nezray is in Lexington, lets us know if you need anything.
Thanks.

Me thinks a GenCon meeting will definitely be in order. :D

I'm trying to talk James into getting something together down your way in Jan./Feb.
