To beat up a 4 Battle points Minbari Fleet I'd suggest an ISA fleet with

6 White Star I
8 Blue Stars

I can guaranty a hard time to your oponent whatever his fleet is made of.
He'll have to deal with 6 scouts capable of getting close to him very quickly and whith a heavy firepower.

OK, I take 4 Morshin and camp in an asteoid field. Whatcha gonna do now except explode, fighter-fodder? ;)

I'd take 2 Takata-Class Mine Cruisers.

Just sit back and launch 32 AD of DD Energy Mines per turn, watch the Minbari play almost cry as you by pass his stealth and do so with a lot of DD AD, they may not be able to get any Criticals, but Minbari ships aren't know for their ability to take damage. Where as the Takatas are bricks in space.

That won't do much against my 2x Neshatan ;)

Against Neshatan I'd switch to 2 Tashkat-Class Advanced Cruisers. They have one hell of a Beam weapon, and the Neshatan has a low steath roll, It'd make for a good game.

have one of each. the Takata mines will reduce the stealth roll for when the Tashkat fires. as long as it lives :-)

Ah, the original post was a fleet to take all Minbari comers... so I am allowed to choose my fleet after you ;)

Heh, I take it from the post above that e-mines that aren't centred on a ship still count as a successful targetting of the ship for lowering stealth?

Stupid bloody rules.

to try and rationalise it, the targeting comp is locking onto the blast impact upon the hull. . .

no, because they are not firing at the ship. they fire at a pre determined location in space
