Does anyone know where to find Traveller or Sci Fi minis?

I am looking for mostly people and some ground vehicles. I suppose I would look at ships but am less interested in them.

Thanks

Reaper minis has line out called Chronoscope. Basic sci-fi type minis of various types. No vees with this line though.

What is your preferred scale?

There is a large and growing body of 15mm SF, some good 25mm SF in odd corners of the hobby, and more 28mm in various flavors than you can shake a stick at.

28mm and 25mm will be better character scales, while vehicles are a big draw for 15mm.

Well Ground Zero Games does some nice figures in 15mm.
RAFM currently has some of the the old Citadel 15mm figures for sale.

Those are your best for very Traveller-esqe figures, GZGs UN hardsuits make great Imperial marines.

Rebel Minis have a good range of 15mm humans, both modern (I'd say circa Traveller TL7-9) and mid-tech sci-fi (I'd give them a Traveller TL11-12), as well as several vehicles, including tanks, APCs, dropships and grav tanks.

But speaking of 15mm, GZG has an even greater selection of minis, ranging from free-trader crews and pirates through robots to soldiers of various tech-levels, including a very wide selection of vehicles.

Oh, and both Rebel Minis and GZG have Grays. Not very Traveller, but they are great for X-Com type games

Stan Johansen Miniatures have "Bear Men" and "Lizard Men" who, with the right paint-job, could pass for Aslan and Droyne, respectively.

Khursan Miniatures have some nice ranges, including the coprorate marines and the Felids - nice for Aslan variety.

Criticall mass games also does some very nice combat armoured and Battle Dress equipped troops:

Check out Dropship Horizon for all sorts of mini news. A very good source, IMHO.

By the way, does anyone know of any good 15mm "bug" minis? I mean Chamax-style "bugs", not humanoid bugs (for that I already use the Spug)...

Hmmm... I was looking for something more arachnid in shape, but if necessary I'll have to settle with Aliens.

Go to the toy section of a store and buy the plastic bugs.

Cheaper and easier :)

Would they be in a 15mm infantry scale? The ones I recall seeing could probably serve as Bug Tanks :)
