well from coventry, which is west mids. currently in oxfordshire which is south mids but all in midlands.

Dude, I'm from walsall, a crap hole I know but THAT is west midlands. If coventry is anything its central or east midlands, so I'll give ya that you are a midlander by origin, but if oxfordshire is in the midlands then I'll publicly remove some ribs and eat my genitals!

Oxfordshire is full of sarf england overspill, with a little of the rest of england thrown in for measure, and most of you talk with a southern accent. I'll bet most people in oxford order a larger dash in the bar as well; otherwise known as a shandy! :wink: :wink: :wink: :wink:

Quick lets get our kevlar body armour on before the southern shandy drinking fairies come up to real men's country for a fight!!!teehee

fortunately coventry is classed as warwickshire, but it is west midlands sometimes too.
oxfordshire is midlands but only just.

While bashing southerners is always amusing - and Oxford might be classed as the Midlands by those even further south, but it's still south - let's move onto something constructive.

A couple of you have expressed interest in this, so if you could all give me some idea of numbers of people likely to turn up on a regular basis, that'd be useful...

I currently live in Sutton Coldfield in the the West Midlands, but will hopefully soon be moving to Heath Haynes nr Cannock.

Am more than happy to travel up to Derby once a month for an ACTA game or two.

Am new to ACTA but have a nice sized EA Fleet, a small Centauri Fleet. and have just started collecting some Vorlons. I just love the Heavy Crusier mini!!!

Any other clubs near me I could join?

We're looking at Derby for a central location. Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, can all get to Derby easily.

Can people who might be interested actually venture an opinion, please? I do want this to actually happen, at a time and place that suits everyone coming, and that would be a heck of a lot easier if people could tell me what suits them...
