Map Problem

Does anyone know a simple tool to convert a Traveller-style icosahedral
map into a more common map projection type (e.g. Mollweide) ?

When I started my setting, I did so with an icosahedral map of the planet,
but now I would prefer one of the more usual "oval" world map types for
a number of specialized maps (weather patterns, natural resources, etc.).

Unfortunately my skills in both drawing and mathematics are ... well ... un-
developed
(to put it very politely), and therefore I do not even have the
basics of an idea of how to convert one map projection into another.

So, if anyone could give me some advice, it would be most welcome.
Thank you ! :D

Yes, but you kinda need to start with it. Fractal Terrains from ProFantasy will do what you want. If you started there.

Basically all you have to do is plot out the relative coastlines from one to the other manually each point can be estimated from one to the other by it's gross proportion between lines of latitude or meridian. This site will give you the lines for the icosahedral map, you will need to find your target projection one on your own.
