OT, and a needless new thread.....but hey. It's BIONIC PENGUINS, MAN !

Ah, and I have discarded the idea of bionic dolphin robots for my new
water world setting as too futuristic for TL 9 !

Back to my drawing board, and this time I will have my clever robotic
dolphins ...

I can't find it right now but water spiders about 2 feet in diameter have also been created.

And then there was the college engineering class that used micro controlers and make a swimming fish that could learn about the pool it was in like some of the room bots available for purchase today.

Still "robotic" surely. Is there a live penguin inside it controlling it?

Get real bionics (super-capable cybernetics) for penguins and that BBC commercial from last year's April 1st won't be a joke for long...

You are weclome rust.

I know a bit more about some of those things, but just didn't take the time to type it or link it.

Mimicing actual life is goal/hobby of many people, and it is interesting how some are going about it.
