I don't remember most of Voyager in all honesty, I think my brains natural diffence mechanisms may have compartmentalsised those memories to save me the trauma
For me Star Trek died at the end of DS9 I'm afraid

(that said I really liked the final season of Enterprise, just a shame about the preceding ones)
It wasn't the story or the concept behind Voyager that I just didnt like it was, I'm afraid the crew, I just didn't like the characters like I did in the other shows (and B5). And Janeway was truly awful as a captain. And before anyone calls me sexist, it has nothing to do with her being a woman. I like Dr. Wier in atlantis for example, and Admiral Whatsername in BSG was cool too (even if she was a psychopath

).
Janeway just struck me as an idiot. Placing rules and regulations ahead of the lives of her crew and ship (Im not saying a captain should just throw the regs out the airlock but to stick to them rigidly without regard for context, even when totally cut off from HQ anyway is just silly, what are starfleet gonna do anyway? Court martial her in the Delta Quadrent?

)
And then theres the isse of the Borg.... Voyager for me RUINED the Borg. Oh look a massive super advanced collective that can wipe out half of starfleet with one ship, but wait, WE have 7 of 9, a single former drone. We can beat them all on numerous occaasions..... grrrrr.....
Thats just the tip of the iceberg with what bugged me about Janeway anyway but when alls said and done, thinking about it realistically, if it was reality, and I was a crewman I would be happy to serve under Sisko or Picard, I probably WOULDNT want to server under Kirk as, as much as he was a great character he has a nasty habit of getting his crewmembers killed

. But I would request a transfer if I was ever stationed under Janeway's command.
Ok I know that that last paragraphs is staggeringly nerdy but what the hell
Rant over. To sum up: Voyager was poo
