Love for A Call to Arms

Just wanted to pop along and say, the last month has not seen a lot of love for A Call to Arms players, as there has been a lot of noise coming from the Judge Dredd camp. However, you have not been forgotten, and we have been busy beavering away!

First up, we will have some new ships going up on the web site later today, which will make admirals of all fleets happy (Federation players with their new toys, other players who will noe have new targets...). These will just be the first in a salvo of new ship designs that, even now, a getting prototyped, cast and painted.

More news on some other bits and pieces as soon as I have managed to talk to the printers today...

Sounds great, but I would still like it if my LGS could get stock on ships that were released months ago like the Fed NCF.

Meh. I can't even get anyone at my store interested in playing!

Too bad you don't live closer to middle Tennessee. I've got 12 people coming over next Saturday (three brand new, never played ACTASf before) to play A Call to Arms.
I'd love to make it 13...

We just finished our first SF campaign it was a huge success now more people want to play but our store can't get any minis its super annoying!!!!

I'd love to join you guys, show off another batch of Federation ships sporting your awesome decals (Still working on getting them all done, BTW). Alas, I'm up in Michigan, so it'd be a crazy drive for a game. :P

It is Mugu games in Everett, WA. They are told through their wholesale distributor that many of the mini's or not available. They were able to get a bunch of D5's, D6's and a couple other Fed ships that came in the box but most were not available, or only had one. Fleet boxes generally are not a problem, although we have yet to see the Kzinti (Fleet box) and I would love to have the Gorn for our campaign starting next week.

Like MarkDawg said the game is getting really popular here, but the availability issues dampen some enthusiasm.

If you could manage to sort it out that would be awesome, maybe it is just a U.S. distributing problem.

@katadder did you say ONLY A YEAR LATE! A year late is a ridiculous. Mongoose never should have released the game if they can't keep up with current production.

It kept getting put back because of all the SFU stuff and the production issues, with half the ships released early because they were ready (Kurgan and Vuldrok) and the other half waiting till now.

I'm ok with delays mainly because I have a giant lead pile and I play SFU, so I've got 3 SFU fleets this year and I'm waiting on a fourth. If I just played Noble Armada and desperately wanted the Church or Vau I'd be peeved.
