Lost Posts?

It looks like a week worth of posts are gone from the forums. Can these be recovered?

I earn my living in the field of systems and database administration, and losing data beyond a previously established time frame (usually no more than 24 hours) is absolutely not acceptable. That's the cardinal sin, and it's not uncommon to see pink slips follow, as it's incompetent. If these posts are truly lost, then Mongoose should be pitching a bitch and asking for compensation ($$$) from their service provider. There may even be language in the SLA guaranteeing cash back for a failure like this.

Sadly, I'm not around here much anymore. I didn't notice. :shock:
Do you remember some of the thread titles?
Perhaps the 'Goose expunged threads that they didn't take a shine to, as they have in the past. :?

I'd love to find another CONAN RPG forum out there for chitchat that's not going to be censored by the Powers That Be.


EDIT: Looks like some threads were lost in the Lone Wolf forum too. :shock: The last date is on the 12th.

Bloody hell! I was waiting for all your Cthulhu Magic to be complete before I wanted to save it to my disk. So I didn't do it yet. And now it's lost? That really sucks.
Hope they can restore a more recent database, but I suppose if they were able (or willing) to do so, they would have done so already.

Bloody hell! I was waiting for all your Cthulhu Magic to be complete before I wanted to save it to my disk. So I didn't do it yet. And now it's lost? That really sucks.

Damn it. Well, I'll start the Cthulhu magic thread anew tomorrow. Thanks for informing us, Style, I don't read any other Mongoose forums. A shame about that AoC thread too.
