When determine fighters lost from dogfights, which one do you remove:
- The one that triggered the dogfight in the first instance
- Anyone, chosen by the player losing the flight
- Anyone, chosen by the opponent.
- Anything else?

a dogfighter roll is only ever between 1 fighter flight and 1 enemy fighter flight, so it will be one of those. all other flights in base contact are merely supporting.

Yeah, the player who won initiative chooses targets first for every one of his fighters (or declares them as supporting) and the only fighters that can be destroyed are the fighters going 1-on-1 (with or without support). Then the procedure is repeated with the player losing initiative choosing his fights.

Don't have the final rulebook yet,

Can a fighter target a flight that was escorted by another fighter? When the dogfight happens both will still be in base to base.
