lore (speific theology) stats?

In the rulebook, Lore (Specific Theology) is defined as using INT and POW in the skill section, but INT *2 in the Divine magic section.

Which is it, pray tell?

I'd go with INTx2.

The basic and advanced versions of Lore are both INTx2. The advanced lore mentions theology as one of the examples.

The sample Edric character sheet at the end of chapter 1 shows Lore(Orlanth) as INTx2.
Surely this "Player- Lawrence" knew what he was doing when he filled out his character sheet. :)

That's also what I said to my player who is building his character but it would be nice for the errata to be updated.

But yes, I expect this "Lawrence" should have a fair idea of the actual situation

Hi,

However if Lawrence had partaken of a glass of good red wine when creating his character, as he likes to do during Straw Dogs sessions, then I as his GM could have told him anything and probably got it wrong :-P
