Looking Back into game

Hay all, I have been out of the loop for a very long time, dealing with school and new jobs and all. Started to look at stuff to at least keep updated and noticed some of the changes...

Question is Whats going on? Is the game no longer supported? Is it just the books only? The second edition books that it looks like you can still get does this have all the added races such as Pakmara? Does the counter sheet that you can get have these new addons? If not were can you get the most up to date stuff?

Last time I was in game was back when Sky Full of Stars came out.

the 2e books do have all the current fleets. the counters havent been updated as yet. mongoose have stopped producing minis though.

Supposedly we are promised an updated counter set imminently, though.

2nd edition books have all the current fleets except that the Gaim have been ban-hammered and a new Gaim fleet with less facial hair will be in next month's S&P magazine.

Funny since they issued the ban themselfs but if you look in last months S&P they have allowed the ISA to take a Gaim ship as an ally....

Talk about not paying attention...

Once again, it is worth pointintg out "MINI" production will start again, with no guarantee it will be ACTA

Once again, it is worth pointintg out "MINI" production will start again, with no guarantee it will be ACTA

although as the biggest mini seller they would be silly to not restart that when mini production starts.

If and when miniature production restarts, ACtA will be top of the list as it represented the majority of their sales before the closedown. The last-minute orders have only served to confirm this!

If you had read the tournament pack, you'd also see that the Gaim were themselves allowed. They were just under certain restrictions. Namely: Only 1 Queen ship for every 2 other ships in the Gaim fleet.
