Last orders

Oh well, I just placed what will probably be my last order of minies.(a couple of ancients) In a way I was lucky, I finished the fleet I was working on a week before the Announcment, and had no plans to start another any time soon. (4 fleets is enough for now, and I was going to wait for the Hyach and Ip-sha that were going to come out this year. sigh )

What about the rest of you? Sorted out what you need, or will it be panic buys at the last minute?

I'll be buying/ordering a good chunk of ISA to round off a 10 Armageddon (no allies) fleet tomorrow at the tourney, and adding some breaching pods, Technomages and a Jump Gate as well.

As soon as my Juyaca arrives I will have every single mini in the A Call To Arms line! Every fleet will be playable at some level. The main races well represented. My collection will be finished. Unfortunately. My dream of having them all came true thanks to credit cards and Mongoose's murder of the line.

As poor as I am, as much modelling as lies before me, I'm still hoping to see the line resurrected next year. I'm a junkie!

I sent in my massive order through three game stores the day of the announcement. All in all, it will cost me $1150USD. Good thing I have been saving!

I had a Minbari and Vorlon fleet almost fleshed out to where I wanted them at the time of the announcement. I had plans to purchase 3rd Age/Crusade EA and Brakiri. I've purchased almost all I need for the EA, and I picked up a couple of the bigger Brakiri ships. By my calculations, I still have about $400-$500 dollars (at sale prices) worth of ships to pick up so that I can complete my two original fleets and get my other two.

My friend is picking up a nice sized Centauri fleet. It'll be his first and probably only fleet. He's also interested in Drakh though.

I've got another friend who will probably pick up Narn.

If I could get one of them to pick up Shadows we'd have all we need.

I'm only in need of 6 Blue Stars, 4 White Stars, and some Nials to fill out the hangars. I ordered them today after I picked up the Nolo'Tars, Flyers, Pinnaces, Breqaching Pods and a Jump Gate. Along with practically my own body weight in metal bases, still need more small ones though, but I ordered those too.

Dropped about £110 quid on minis today all in.

I have no money for longer than the end of the month, so no panic buys from me even though I want to...

Rounded out my EA Collection, and ordered a bunch of Vorlon and Drazi stuff for my friends. I *really* hope it doesn't get lost between Mongoose and my place, I still wince at the order value after conversion...

Mind you it's totally worth it!

I still haven't received anything, and it's been a full month. Two weeks ago, part of my order cleared customs... the other part is waiting on a re-stock from MGP, and the last part says they sent in the order to MGP and haven't heard back.

Well im not happy iv spent £1000+ over the past 2 years on collecting all the races in nice numbers, and now its being stopped befor i can complete it all arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :evil: .

On the over hand you can still get the old B5 wars so i would say ACTA mins will be around to buy for some time I HOPE.

My resolve is cracking. I'm starting to wonder if my four 5pt raid LONAW fleets wouldn't be better as 6pt raid, or 3pt battle. Just a few more ships.

I did my last (and 3rd) buy this morning. Just a few ships to fill the final gaps. It's so tempting to add another fleet to the collection but I'm holding off, I have enough for years of fun.

My first order came really quickly, still haven't received second, prepared to wait a while for third.

I think it's like a restaurant at lunch hour.. if you show up early you get a table and your order quickly.. but then this large group comes in and if you don't get your order ahead of theirs you're going to be waiting awhile.
