I haven't read though it, but since its set to run with 6 pre-generated characters, you might say its "convention-al"

its literally the definition of the one off since the characters can't affect the outcome, really, the president will still die!

It's possibly a bit long for a con game, but if you drop an episode or two (I'd say The Mars Question and maybe A Dream Given Form) it could fit.
