Klingon WIP + Have I mentioned lately how much I hate resin?

Here are the first 5 Klingons out of my fleet box that I have painted up; just need to detail and varnish. After black primer, I appllied German Grey as the base color, and followed up with three drybrush coats of GW Codex Grey:

The ship that looked the best, was the C9:

Until I noticed the chipped resin off the impulse engine "grills" (note the two missing outboard grills on the port impulse engine and the chipped ones on the right). Didn't even spot them until I was done drybrushing:

Any advice/comments on the paint job? Also what to do about the chipped engine; return to the 'Goose for a replacement, or repair (and if so how). I'm thinking plasticard, but not sure how easy that will be.

Any comments welcome.

Thanks,

Oooh!
Cloaked Klingons. Not SFU-canon, but...

Heh. Had to get the best light I could since I am too cheap to buy a real digital camera

I had the exact same flaw on mine. I fixed it with some green stuff and a razor saw from x-acto. Filled in the space and then cut the fin in with the saw using the existing fins as a guide.
