Judge Dredd?

How come the game is named Judge Dredd and there is no stat writeup anywhere in this game book for him? It just strikes me weird that MP did this again, If I recall they did the same thing in the Conan 2e book as well, no Conan, I don't understand how you do a game up with a famous character and then don't include them, kinda stupid if you ask me. It's like having a Batman game without Batman.

Author's reasons are on side box of page 255.
Though as a JD fanatic I could not resist stating up most of the big names in the Justice Department who still survive for my own campaign.

This reminds me of the Star Wars campaign I ran many years ago, using the West End Games system. At least one of their printed adventures had Han Solo swooping in at the last instant to save the players from being turned into burnt bantha-dung.

Now maybe the idea was to please people who wanted to see the movie heroes cross paths with their characters... I never bought into any of that. Your players are the heroes or major characters of your 'series' or saga. Not Han Solo. Not Batman. Not Judge Dredd.

Besides -- if Dredd does show up, either the situation is so dire that most of a city sector is going to end up wiped out, or your players will get stuck with the paperwork Dredd can't stand doing.
