Judge Dredd Character Sheet

Updated the sheets again, this time there is validation (drop down lists) for the skills, the Language, Trade and Empty Skills are not validated, they can be anything you want.

LOL. I still have my slide rule actually. I'm sure there is a possible game supplement that can be done for slide rules. Perhaps a Traveller Skylark DuQuense setting or some such.

Since I posted I went on a hunt for the one my Dad gave me about 10 years back while I was at uni. Found it, and a reasonably quick online search found a scan pdf of the original instructions for it :lol:

Old tech can be good tech, when the EMP comes I shall rule the world.

Worse comes to worse when the EMP hits you can use the slide rule to actually stab someone and take their food. Calculator, not so much.

Newest Round of the character sheet, looks great. Each sheet keeps getting better. Maybe mongoose could hold a contest with bragging rights as the prize.

you could also use a circular slide rule as a ranged weapon...

Slide Rule. Nerd Ninja Weapon of Death. But then, Also a pretty good foundation for adding a new science skill I would think. Folks that know how to use a Slide Rule seem to be pretty good with that math stuff, and unlike computers or calculators, the Slide Rule could make for an interesting adventure hook methinks.

true but then you have to clean it or it gets all sticky... which makes the subsequent calculations more tricky

I was just thinking. Many of the Functions of a Slide rule, could be worked into the multi level slip cover character sheet. You get hurt, you pull the slide on the various stats etc........

Same could be said for DM modifiers for range and other fun things.
