[Jon Brazer Ent.] Krakodarans Available for Subscribers

Because Jon Brazer Enterprises appreciates our Subscribers, we're releasing Creatures of Distant Worlds to them today. They get the first look at these terrible kings of the ocean waves. Scouring the waters for their next meal, they search for a tasty snack like player characters. Now an elect few feed freely before the whole pod swims loose on Monday May 11th.

Krakodarans is apart of the Creatures of Distant Worlds Subscription at http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product_info.php?products_id=61432. Join this Member's Only group today for exciting Subscriber Benefits.

Remember to "Live Long and Prosper" this weekend.

I would love to have a Krakodaran feed freely in my setting, but how do
I get it to swim onto my PC's hard drive today ? :D

Many ways. They might not know about it yet. Its possible that those in your water world setting are the deep sea variety and only recently moved to higher waters for reasons yet unknown to the players. Also possible that they arrived via space transport (similar to one of the worlds being removed from Arrakis in one of the later Dune books). Another way to introduce them is that they have always been apart of the setting, but they have never been a problem until ... NOW.

EDIT: Or wait ... do you run a PbP?

Thank you very much for a number of good ideas. :D

However, my real problem is (and I should have posted it more clearly):
I do not know how to download the Krakodaran of my subscription, Drive
Thru RPG does not provide a download link and keeps telling me that my
beastie does become available on May 11th. :(

rust's game is a live one but he does lots of questions and discussion via forums to plan out some of the activity and adventures.

If you ever want to take the time to read some of his (and his gamers) postings/thoughts, you should check out his website. They are very good thoughts and ideas.

I would give you the url but I seem to misplaced it. (sorry)

Oh, and it's in german. :)

Check your email. I sent download links via email to all subscribers. If not, send me an message and I'll see what I can do.

The e-mail has not yet arrived, but my provider is often somewhat slow.

And now I will keep staring at that e-mail box ...

Oh, you should check to see if your settings on DTRPG let you get emails from publishers. I don't know if that would make a difference, but it might. Just my first thought.

Yep, publishers are free to contact me.

I am almost certain that it is my ***** internet provider, it has done it
several times before, especially with e-mails from abroad (e.g. three
hours for an e-mail from Australia).

If the Krakodaran has not arrived tomorrow morning, I will contact you. :)

Sorry, but subscriber-based RPG materials is a surefire way to get me to stay away from your products. I do not "rent" gaming material.

Oh, sorry. Not that kind of subscription. Purchasing this subscription means you purchased all the creatures in the series just as if you had purchased them regularly from DriveThruRPG except that you purchased all them in advance at a discount and you receive additional bonus material.

Meanwhile the Krakodaran has arrived, and I really love it - the perfect
animal to see the player characters of my campaign humbled by the na-
tive wildlife.

Another non-starter, if its never going to be available again.

"Limited Edition" is a marketing ploy that should never be applied to information.

After technical difficulties, Krakodarans should now available for all those that subscribed. If you still are unable to download it, please contact me either via PM either here or on the JBE Forums. Thank you for your patience during this period.

Dale.
