Hello Rulesmasters, I've tried asking several of these questions on the JDMG bit of the forum without a response, so I thought I'd add them here in the hope of an answer or two. I've added a couple more questions as I thought of them while writing this and would greatly appreciate some answers, thank you for your time
How does the armour upgrade work for the Mercenary Mutant? It says it already has +5 armour (Or is that a typo or something given it’s cost of 45?), buying +3 armour for 20 points make little sense if it doesn’t combine, and if the +5 is a typo or misprint then shouldn’t the mutation be the same as it is for the normal mutant?
Do you get the Vid Reporter roll even if the Vid Reporter becomes a casualty? I assume you roll on the injury table for Mercenaries as well (since if a merc you want as a loyal follower is dead then that wouldn’t make a lot of sense) and if so I’m guessing it literally needs to die for you to not get the roll?
If you've got a Mercenary as a permanent addition (Through the Loyal Follower Talent), is there any way to change/add to their equipment? What if they became Heroes?
What happens to a satellat if the model it's purchased for becomes a casualty? And do you roll injuries for a Satellat if it's killed? Ie, is it counted as a Minion in all respects (xp for killing, and stuff) or is it just considered equipment that can be targeted and do a few things on it’s own?
When your force goes under 25% do all remaining models have to roll Will-To-Fight or just the one with the highest score?
How does a Zombie Horde play if it’s Mistress is forced to miss a game? What about a Lone Vigilante without a Side-kick/Loyal Follower?
Is “Pre-Measuring” allowed in JDMG? I can’t find a concrete yes or no (The bit about failing a Melee action seems to imply you aren’t allowed to, but there are stuff that can cause that despite knowing the distance (dangerous terrain, jumping, etc) and at the same time there’s the bit about only being allowed to make a Shoot Action if you’re in-range, and it can be hard to know that if you can’t pre-measure.
Are you allowed to intentionally “fall down” heights by walking off them? And if so, can you continue your move/melee action after the fall (assuming it didn’t kill you)?
When it comes to fulfilling the primary objective(s) on certain scenarios. To take Street Rumble as an example, would the model to fulfill the objective be the one to remove the last enemy or be the one that causes them to flee, or is any model that caused a casualty in this scenario going to get an extra XP?
Shouldn't the Vid Reporter be available to all forces to reflect how desperate they are for a selling scoop, and for game balance purposes? (Doesn't seem fair some forces get a lease with which to get extra cash while others don’t)
