Many years ago, when TNE was new, and I had just invented RICE, a gentleman named Chris/Christopher Griffen wrote several RICE Papers for worlds in Deneb Sector.

Some of these RICE Papers have come to the attention of a potential project, and the coordinator of that project (not me) is looking to discuss permission for use of the material in connection with the project.

Separately, I *AM* looking for Mr Griffen; I'd like to bring ALL of his RICE Papers into the RICE Archives at Freelance Traveller (and print them in the PDF Magazine). Unfortunately, I've only been able to find two addresses for him, one that definitely is not valid (the server has returned a permanent "Whozzat?" error) and one which is likely not valid as it dates back to 1995.

Thus, I seek the aid of the Traveller community in locating him. If you know him, or know where to reach him, would you please be so kind as to ask him to contact me, at editor@freelancetraveller.com - or, if you can find any additional leads, pass them on to me?

You have an e-mail. :)

I used the old e-mail address I sent to you for an attempt
to contact Mr. Griffen and inform him that you would like
to establish a contact with him, and so far my mail service
has not returned the e-mail, which normally would mean
that this e-mail address does still exist.

Email received, and thanks. Unfortunately, in this era of spam-as-a-way-of-life, there is a large segment of the 'net that simply drops mail to invalid addresses on the floor; an attempt to send bogus mail can often be an attempt to verify an email address, thus making it more valuable - "ALL GAZILLION GOOGOLPLEX ADDRESSES ON THIS CD LIST ARE VERIFIED!". I've sent of a message of my own, and hopefully will get a response - but I also note that the 1995 address I have still hasn't returned an error...
