Is Jump Space flat?

I will enter, almost out of topic, but this question "Is jump space flat?" echoes in my ears as a pseudo-philosophical question.

Descriptions over the decades vary slightly but it sounds like jump space are layered multiverses, possibly could be referred to as hyperspaces, that have increasingly tighter space for the same time traveled the deeper you penetrate. Each is a reflection of normal space explaining why normal space gravity still affect jump engines.
