Ever since Friday I've been running a Traveller game for a neighbours son.
He basically selected 6 star wars minatures and named them before i set up a mini game using Traveller rules.
So he first chose a Darth Vader figure and named him Fred whose armed with an energy broadsword, then the Purge figure and named him Freddie so he uses a pair of energy pistols. Next he chose General Greivous and named him Grave and of course he's a cyborg with four arms each wielding an Energy Sword, the next two were both droids naming one IG after IG-88 and the Bodyguard Droid he named Raid with the rebel on a speeder bike being his last choice whom he named Laz.
He also selected the probe droid figure to serve as his character's spaceship!
Anyway I started the game by having Fred meet his patron Tarquin who communicated via a holographic link within a droid factory near the spaceport.
Asked to retrieve something from a research base being protected by Clone Troopers which by the end of the first session Fred had been knocked out and they were stymied at the bridge leading to the interior of the base.
Today when we continued Grave passed his medic check waking up Fred as the others were held up by a trio of clone troopers on the bridge, Grave made short work of the troopers until the last sealed the door to the interior of the base forcing Freddie to use explosives to blow the door open.
This results in reinforcements using the interior turbo lifts to aid the remaining guards and eventually the squad force the last surviving guard to seal up the research lab as they take down the last remaining troops outside the lab.
Grave this time blows up the door but it reveals that someone has penetrated the lab from above leaving a few battle droids to hold off Fred and his team whilst Fred's nemesis Captain Antilles as posed by the Han Solo figure escapes back to the space port.
Losing only Raid the bodyguard droid they return to the spaceport to find themselves in a four way firefight between themselves, Tarquin's droid soldiers, Antilles surviving squad and the remaining clone troopers which eventually results in only Fred and Grave escaping back to their ship and evading pursuit as Antilles flees the system aboard his ship leaving his remaining comrades behind.
Thats as far as its gone today but was wondering if he wants this game to continue where to go next.
So far I suspect either Fred recruits new personnel and then goes after his enemy or see what Bradley wants to do next...
