intercepters while Running Silent?

1: Can a ship use its intercepters while Running Silent?

I for one say no as she is trying to keep her EM signiture low.

There's nothing in the rules to stop you. Interceptors are not a weapon therefore "may not fire any weapons" doesn't stop you from using interceptors.
