The disconnect between learning a skill in core and the useless Instruction skill from Mercenary needs redefining in a re-write of rules if anyone remembered this and mentioned it in the 2nd edition thread.
As it stands the Instruction saves you 1-6 days and you have to roll 2d6 to learn. A waste on someone who needs 26 weeks to learn skill and rolls 1 then 5 so saves 1 day and doesn't learn it.
