Injuries

Suggested on another forum, and I think this is a good idea.

WHat would you think about reinstating the Injury table from Gangs of Mega-City One? Basically, if a Hero is reduced to 0 Hits, they are removed from the table as normal, but after the game you roll on an Injury table to see exactly what happened to them. Might just be a scratch, might be a permanent injury - they might be truly dead!

Would not apply to Minions, of course.

Morning matt

Off the top of my head this early morning, maybe when you die ( reaching 0 hits ) the end of game table could be based on what killed you in terms of Damage...

1. Add the weapon damage rating that killed you and see what the result is

Most will be a D10 with a +1 , but something like a rocket hit, would be a + 6 to the D10 roll ?

So when you are removed from the table just make a note of the weapons damage rating that killed you

Bullets and blades would be around 1 to 11, but from say 10+ the results could be more " Graphic " with limbs and bits missing, guts hanging out etc..

Of course a rocket blast could roll low but that would be around 7 to 17 if its a + 6 Rocket with the D10 roll...

This would cover the nicks and cuts, being knocked out, bleeding out, and then move on to limbs broken to being smahed and removed...

An injury table is an absolute must.

Having a graded system based on the strength of the wepaon that inflicts the injury like Alan suggests is a very good idea but I would prefer if it was extended to minions as well.

One of the great things about any skirmish game is having one of your lowly gang members get progressively more pathetic as bits of them get shot off.

why not have different weapons as different colour bands ie red green blue yello ... each colour band has a chart for damage on vehicles and meat bags... as energy weapons would be different to high explosive. or say chemical..
