Ilbarsi Knife: any idea of Stats

Well, in the original El Borak story (Three Bladed Doom) that this is a re-write of, the knife was a Khyber Knife, which of course is what a Zhaibar Knife is... therefore, an Ilbarsi knife is the same as a Zhaibar knife, just made in a different region.

The Story; 'The Flame Knife,' there is mention of the Ilbarsi Knife:

Yes, the Ilbarsi is mentioned by more than one pastiche author. I know Offut mentions it in his trilogy, and Leonard Carpenter in his books as well. I think I've seen it in others, as well, especially with stories that take place close to Turan near the Ilbars river.

Is it mentioned in "Iron Shadows of the Moon"? I'm not sure.

I think I've seen stats for it in the game, I just can't remember where.

Was wondering why the Iranistani was not put into 2E, it looks a exciting and amusing Character type to play ? :)

I've seen that character somewhere, too...it's in there, just forgot where.

Hmmm, maybe it did not make it there into the compendium. I thought they put it in the book which gathered all the S&P articles?!?

Maybe the Iranistanis made it into the Road of Kings.

Damn, now, I'm confused.

Martial Weapon

Flame knife: 15 sp, 1d6 x4, AP 1, range: n/a, Hardness 8, HP 1, weight 1lb. Piercing or slashing.

Just thought about it quickly, any ideas ?

The Flame knife is in Tito's, pg. 28 & 31. Your stats are close.

Flame knife: 10 sp, 1d4, AP 2, range: n/a, Hardness 10, HP 1, weight 1lb. Piercing. Finessess weapon. Critical: 18-20/x2

Description: The Iranistani flame knife operates on the same principle as a flamberge, although appllied to a double-edged dagger instead of a greatsword.

Flamberge Description: The Nemedian flamberge is a huge, wavy sword. The waved design increases the surface area available for swings, allowing a warrior to cut through his opponent's defences with ease and cause cippling damage. It is difficult to construct and expensive.
