Ideas for new rules for "Construction Decks"

Have you ever taken a specific gravity? When doing so I NEVER knew the mass that I was measuring the density of.
You compare known parameters with a reference, but that is a deflection since in the real world we can measure mass and thus relative density/specific gravity.

You can't measure it in Traveller, there is no mass.

"Relative density, also called specific gravity, is a dimensionless quantity defined as the ratio of the density (mass divided by volume) of a substance to the density of a given reference material."

note "defined as the ratio of the density (mass divided by volume)" if you don't know the mass you can't know the density. tell me what are the Mongoose Traveller relative densities/specific gravity for crystaliron and bonded superdense? What is it for jump machinery?

The only thing we know the density of is the fuel inside a fuel tank since we know it is 1000kg contained within 14m3, the fuel tank material is apparently mass-less.

Principle is the same.

You can't see the target, but you know it's behind cover, and have an idea approximately where.

Mesons penetrate the cover, and blow up.

Whether within the target, or just beside it.

Blow up? As in Burst? Meson Guns do not have Burst against ship-scale targets. You keep talking about everything except the rules.

So, what is the mechanic for shooting at a target you can't see? The Called Shot doesn't seem to do it since that still applies if you can see the target. So, is there another mechanic that covers this?
