IAS Liandra - painted by Wererogue

So, I managed to finish during my lunchbreak at home, and brought her in for a quick photo shoot.

I guess I should also mention that this is a digi-cam with incredibly bad photo-fu, and the desktop at my office is hardly conducive to good miniatures photography.

Basically, I laid down a dull brick red color on the model over a black primer coat. This was to add a "bronze-y" tint to the Rhulic Gold I drybrushed on next.

Then I watered down some GW Dark Green Ink and sort of brushed it on randomly to create some splotches of color. Once that dried, I hit it with a light, random drybrush of Rhulic Gold again.

I think it turned out very close to the images I've seen from Wikipedia and B5tech.com, rather than the camo-style we've seen on the studio models.

It wasn't in the show. No, no never in the show, not once.

It's entirely made up by Mongoose...

Why won't you believe me!!!

Nice paint job by the way...

Nice job. A one of a kind ship should always look special. ;)
Regards,

Fantastic job! Sometimes I wish Mongoose would let players paint ships for its product pages, rather than their in-house painters who seem to sometimes be quite lacking.
